Overview

Westgate Chapel is seeking a full-time Groups/Discipleship Pastor to lead and develop the adult discipleship ministries of our growing church. This key leadership role provides vision, oversight, and support for Life Groups, Sunday morning communities, mid-week and Sunday classes/bible studies, and both men’s and women’s ministries. • Provide vision, oversight, and support for Life Groups, Sunday morning communities, mid-week and Sunday classes/bible studies, and men’s and women’s ministries.
• Lead and develop the adult discipleship ministries and promote a culture of discipleship through the empowerment of lay leaders and teams.
• Serve as a member of the Management Team and lead the Groups Ministry Council; report directly to the Executive Pastor of Ministries.
• Collaborate with other ministry teams and, depending on gifting, contribute to the preaching team.

• Proven leader and team builder with a passion for discipleship and developing others.
• Strong character and a calling to foster meaningful connection within the body of Christ.
• Ability to empower lay leaders and volunteers to grow ministries.
• Licensing with The Christian and Missionary Alliance (Alliance) is required.

Located in Sylvania Township (Toledo, OH). Westgate Chapel is experiencing significant growth and is expanding the Groups/Discipleship Pastor role to support numerical and spiritual growth within the congregation.
