What You’ll Do

• Oversee nursing department operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local long-term care regulations.
• Develop and maintain the facility’s clinical programs and nursing policies.
• Participate in assessments, care plans, and discharge planning.
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) efforts.
• Support new admissions and build strong relationships with residents and families.
• Supervise infection control and resident safety practices.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and mentor nursing staff and clinical teams.
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust based on census and acuity.
• Manage department budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Represent Kingston during surveys, lead investigations, and complete reports as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
• At least 3
  -5 years of Director of Nursing (DON) or equivalent supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of clinical standards and long-term care compliance
• Proven leadership in staffing, team development, and resident-centered care
• CPR Basic or Advanced Life Support certification
• Willingness to travel between Kingston Healthcare locations across Ohio
