Mental Health​/Psychiatric Nurse; RN

Responsibilities

• Serve as an interdisciplinary treatment team member creating and executing psychiatric treatment plans.
• Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, and response to medication and treatment.
• As charge nurse, initiate and direct psychiatric and nursing care for patients while promoting a positive and safe environment for recovery.
• Contribute vital input on patient records, treatment plans, and reports.

• Current registered nurse license in the state of Ohio issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Minimum 3‑week full‑time orientation at 7:30 am‑4:00 pm; orientation is required even for part‑time positions.
• Required continuing education, licensure renewal, and training to remain in the classification.

Hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit. Pay range $34.96–$48.90/hr with an additional $1.50/hr shift differential and $3.50/hr PM hours supplement for hours between 3 pm and 7 am. Normal working hours are 5 eight‑hour shifts a week for full‑time and 2–3 eight‑hour shifts a week for part‑time with an every‑other‑weekend rotation. Full‑time first and second shift (6:30 am–3 pm, 2:30 pm–11 pm) are currently available.
