Position: Dialysis Nurse (RN)

Pay: $40.50 - $49.50, DOE

Shift: Start between 7‑8 AM, no predefined end, depends on census

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective patient care in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
  • Assess and document patient responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate patients about their condition and treatment options, responding to their questions empathetically.
  • Perform pre‑treatment checks on dialysis machines and maintain equipment according to safety protocols.
  • Report incidents and concerns to the RN Supervisor or CEO as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional patient care and support each other.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Active state licensure with a clean record.
  • At least one year of RN experience, with a minimum of six months in nephrology.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification from an accredited organization.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing education in nephrology.
  • Ability to lift and assist patients and equipment safely.
Physical and Mental Demands
  • Requires prolonged periods of standing and frequent heavy lifting (up to 200 lbs with assistance).
  • Potential exposure to infectious diseases and biohazards in a healthcare environment.
  • Must be able to travel between hospital locations and work varied shifts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • Adherence to proper body mechanics is crucial in preventing injuries.
