Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse First Assistant is a clinician and a role model. You serve as the primary clinician with specific patients in combination with the surgical/medical plan. You are responsible for beginning, implementing, and evaluating a nursing plan of care.
In this role, you will assess a patient’s status to anticipate and respond to clinical changes as well as recognize and take appropriate action in critical situations.

Requirements- Education:
Successfully completed a course in preparing the registered nurse as a first assistant in surgery. - Skills:
Must be able to differentiate colors. Must be able to input and retrieve information from computer. - Years of
Experience:
2 years of intraoperative clinical experience. - License:
Current RN licensure in the state in which you are hired. - Certification: CPR certified. Current specialty certification required (CNOR) issued by the Certification Board Perioperative Nursing (CBPN).
- Education:
bachelors degree in nursing
