Locum - Physician Assistant; PA - Critical Care; Nights

Overview

Work Setting:
Hospital. Trauma Level: Level 1 trauma center capable of handling strokes. Inpatient care occurs in the Neuro ICU (16 beds). Average daily patients:
Neuro ICU about 10 patients, with about 5 neurosurgery consults each night. Available services:
Lab and X-ray are available at the hospital.

Provide inpatient care in the Neuro ICU and participate in neurosurgery consultations. Manage trauma and stroke patients in a high-acuity setting, collaborating with hospital services as needed.

• Certification:
  Board Certified as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) in Ohio.
• Ohio License:
  Valid license to practice in Ohio.
• Background Check:
  Clean background required.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ENLS Certification:
  Highly preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Comfortable working in a Neuro ICU at a Level 1 trauma center; experience with stroke patients is required.
• Night Duty:
  Night shifts in the Neuro ICU (16 beds) with neurosurgery consultations.
