Registered Nurse - 4563 (Day)

Job Details
  • Day shift position
  • Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission
  • Develop and follow individualized plans of care based on collected patient data
  • Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees
  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
  • Participate in patient rehabilitation program on assigned unit
  • Provide patient information and status for Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences
  • Initiate discharge planning from day of admission and provide patient teaching in anticipation of discharge
  • Communicate pertinent information regarding changes in patient status to attending physician and Charge Nurse
  • Assume charge responsibility following orientation period as requested
  • Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience highly desired
  • ICU experience required
  • Critical care experience required
  • BLS Certification required prior to first shift
  • ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only)
