Store Manager

The Store Manager is responsible for playing a critical role in providing support to merchandising, operational, and human resources functions for an individual store to achieve or exceed planned sales and profits. This position requires a proactive and vigilant individual who will remain highly engaged with customers, demonstrate integrity, effective communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic retail setting.

The Store Manager will build a positive work culture, drive employee involvement, and support change‑management efforts within the retail organization.

Location:

Toledo, OH | Salary: $45,000.00–$55,000.00

• Recruit, interview, hire, counsel, and manage termination practices, including legal compliance.
• Maintain financial controls, including shrink, payroll, and other operating expenses.
• Maintain proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transactions, and comply with shrink‑control standards.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure satisfactory customer service.
• Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory‑taking, cash‑receipt reconciliation, or customer service.
• Ensure adherence to all Citi Trends, Inc. policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of retail experience as a Store Manager.
• 5–7 years of retail experience (overall).

• Store Managers are scheduled to work 45 hours per week and must perform the essential physical functions listed below with or without accommodation.
