Job Duties
  • Setting Appointments: 6-8 hrs per week: reach out to potential clients who previously requested coverage with our company and schedule a time to discuss mortgage protection coverage.
  • Research: 4‑5 hrs per week: dig into the information the client provided in order to customize options to meet their financial needs in the case of death or disability.
  • Meeting with Families: 2 days per week: meet with clients either virtually or in person to present options, discuss coverage details, and help apply for coverage.
  • Administrative: 2 hrs per week: follow up with insurance carriers to facilitate client applications through underwriting.

We are looking for coachable, challenge‑seeking, self‑disciplined individuals with a growth mindset. Skill set isn’t everything for this position.

Compensation

This is a commission‑only based sales position. The average commission on a mortgage protection product is approximately $600 per family you protect. Our expectation is that a full‑time agent will sell 5 to 10 mortgage protection plans per week. In addition to mortgage protection, we also offer high‑quality financial products to help people save for retirement or protect their retirement accounts from losing money in the stock market.

We provide extensive training on how these products work and how to sell them. In addition to uncapped commission, we have a competitive bonus structure program and incentive trips agents/managers can qualify for based on their individual and team results.

No agent’s success, earnings, or production results should be viewed as typical, average, or expected. Not all agents achieve the same or similar results, and no particular results are guaranteed. Your level of success will be determined by several factors, including the amount of work you put in, your ability to successfully follow and implement our training and sales system and engage with our lead system, and the insurance needs of the customers in the geographic areas in which you choose to work.
