Flyght provides technical solutions, mostly cloud‑based, that unify the entire technology stack in the businesses we serve. We aim to help these businesses flourish and remove worry from the technical parts of their work. We have customers in over 26 states and have been in business for 14 years.

We currently save our customers over 60,000 hours automating the technology in our customers’ businesses, and expect to grow by over 40% in 2020.

Job Summary

Flyght is looking for a technically proficient, motivated, and kind individual who has proven B2B technical sales experience to cultivate and nurture high‑level relationships from the lead to close stage in the customer life‑cycle.

Primary Purpose

The successful candidate will consistently increase new customers through high close rates while maintaining a large potential sales funnel. The candidate will consistently showcase an increase in value to potential customers.

Success Defined

A successful Unification Architect will exceed sales goals during all quarter and annual reviews, and consistently receive top‑marks from customers in customers’ post‑sale reviews.

Responsibilities

The Unification Architect position is responsible for prospecting new customers and completing product sales to new and existing customers. Further, the Unification Architect will maintain a post‑onboarding relationship with clients to ensure their long‑term success.

  • Own and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Build trust in the organization by creating value and giving expertise at network events
  • Build trust with existing customers, and uncover new opportunities with those customers
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through sales proposals and presentations to new and potential customers
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Maintain a 90‑day follow up relationship with customers after installation
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Attend team weekly meetings and update weekly KPI data
Professional Experience / Qualifications
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
  • Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C‑level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client‑focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellence in organization and detail
Education and/or Experience

A bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university; or 3-5 years outside sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organizational skills and efficient computer skills in Word and Excel.
