As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility is to generate new business and grow existing client relationships by promoting Tradesmen International’s skilled labor solutions. This is a field‑based sales role focused on driving revenue through proactive outreach, relationship‑building, and consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities- New Business Development
- Prospect and identify potential clients through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Conduct in‑person sales calls and presentations to educate contractors on Tradesmen’s value proposition.
- Register new clients, negotiate terms, and secure signed service agreements.
- Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics.
- Client Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and continued partnership.
- Develop strong relationships with client stakeholders—from office personnel to jobsite supervisors.
- Resolve client issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Deliver and discuss invoices during initial billing cycles to ensure timely payment.
- Field Employee Engagement
- Support the onboarding and jobsite introduction of Field Employees.
- Maintain regular jobsite visits and phone check‑ins to ensure employee satisfaction and client alignment.
- Track active and available Field Employees and work closely with operations to ensure strong deployment.
- Sales Process Management
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records and activity reports in the CRM.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and weekly planning.
- Support field recruitment efforts by encouraging referrals from high‑performing Field Employees.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build lasting customer and team relationships
- Self‑motivated with a track record of meeting sales goals
- Experience in B2B outside sales, especially with cold calling and territory management
- Familiarity with CRM tools and standard business software
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Consistent attendance and ability to work in a fast‑paced, goal‑driven environment
- Base salary + uncapped commission
