Learn more:  As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas at a public facility, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence.

This role requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling by vehicle and/or foot. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and embody our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter unwanted activity and report any suspicious behavior or incidents as required.
• Interact with the public in a courteous and professional manner, offering assistance and information as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and client policies and procedures while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
