Automotive Electric Technician – Commercial Van Interiors (CVI) – Toledo, OH

A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install customer solutions into commercial vehicles, trailers, box trucks, etc.
• Receive, stock and pull inventory
• Drive a lift truck
• Deliver and pick up commercial vehicles from customer or dealerships
• Move vehicles around facility and in and out of bays
• Provide daily feedback on performance
• Follow workflow processes
• Function effectively in a team environment
• Remain flexible with work schedule to support customer commitment
• Meet deadlines of individual or team production tasks during shift
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Key Behaviors Required for This Role

• Knowledge of commercial product
• Identify and communicate risk immediately
• Work with tools, hand cart and lift up to 50 lbs; obtain a fork‑lift license
• Identify and eliminate waste to improve productivity
• Results oriented; exceed goals and push self and team

Education / Skills Required

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a “Driver” as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy
• Certified forklift driver – will support obtainment if needed

• Valid driver’s license
• Acceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)
