Installation Technician

Job Description

You will be the key to elevating the customer experience by providing seamless installation and activation of our state‑of‑the‑art technology.

• Work independently at customer homes and businesses installing broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services.
• Install, test, and activate equipment such as routers, switches, and fiber lines.
• Identify wire and cable colors and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Operate safely at heights and in confined spaces, and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts, and holiday work.
• Provide courteous service and resolve customer questions or complaints.

• Valid state driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs and weigh less than 325 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 28 ft. and in small spaces.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic and wiring diagrams.
• Demonstrated ownership of a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Qualified on pre‑employment assessments.

Compensation: $21.25 – $29.78 per hour; average starting earnings around $44,200 per year, depending on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
