Job Description
Join and apply for the Installation Technician role at AT&T. This position offers an opportunity to introduce customers to the world’s most robust network while delivering best‑in‑class service. You will be the key to elevating the customer experience by providing seamless installation and activation of our state‑of‑the‑art technology.
Responsibilities- Work independently at customer homes and businesses installing broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services.
- Install, test, and activate equipment such as routers, switches, and fiber lines.
- Identify wire and cable colors and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Operate safely at heights and in confined spaces, and lift up to 60 lbs.
- Be available for overtime, emergency callouts, and holiday work.
- Provide courteous service and resolve customer questions or complaints.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs and weigh less than 325 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 28 ft. and in small spaces.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic and wiring diagrams.
- Demonstrated ownership of a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation: $21.25 – $29.78 per hour; average starting earnings around $44,200 per year, depending on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
