Position Details

As a Cement Mason for RAM Construction Services, you will assist in the revitalization and construction of our surrounding areas. A Cement Mason will perform a variety of tasks that aid in both the completion and success of a project and assistance of team members. The essential duties include but are not limited to the following.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform waterproofing above and below grade including air/vapor barrier, joint sealants and caulking, traffic coatings, and hot applied systems.
• Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds.
• Assisting other skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.) in their performance.
• Using hand tools and small power tools.
• Performing other relevant duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Qualifications Required

• Minimum education level of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience is required.
• Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record. A valid Chauffeur’s License preferred.

Travel

Some travel is required for this position; the employee must be willing to travel to surrounding job sites. RAM will compensate a per diem for travel and overnight stay if applicable.

Technology

Some technology use may be required. If so, the employee will be properly trained on how to use software’s/equipment/etc.

Work Environment

Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, areas close to traffic.

Adhering to instructions from superintendents, project managers and construction plans and blueprints.

Cleanliness

Maintaining a clean, organized and hazard free work area.

Safety Compliance

Following all RAM health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
