About the Job
A successful candidate for this position would be a Trailer Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years experience, with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

• $25-$35/hour, or commensurate with experience.
• Quarterly performance Bonus after 90 days.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Friday/Days!
• Up to 2 wks vacation!
• Paid holiday.
• 401K.
• Bi-weekly paychecks. Overtime after 40 hours.
• Clothing & boot allowance after 90 days.
• Tools and service truck supplied by RSS.

• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions on all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and replace defective components.
• Perform regular check-ups and preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including: ABS, air brakes, frame, body, suspension and electrical systems.
• Coordinate with other staff, receive & execute work instruction in a timely & proper manner.
• Help maintain positive working relationships with current customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

• Must have over 5 years of direct Trailer Mechanic experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass the DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
