Full-Time, Field Service Salary Range: $28–$35/hour, with potential flexibility for direct industrial air-compressor service experience

Regular travel to customer facilities and job sites within the assigned territory

About the OpportunityA growing industrial service organization is seeking a Compressor Technician to support customers throughout the Toledo, OH market. This is a field-service role focused on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial air compressors and other rotating equipment.

Direct compressor-service experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, industrial equipment troubleshooting experience, and a willingness to learn will also be considered. The company provides structured technical training, ongoing support, and opportunities to grow into more advanced service and leadership roles.

What You'll DoService, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment

Diagnose equipment issues and recommend solutions that improve reliability and operating efficiency

Identify repair, upgrade, and preventive-maintenance opportunities based on equipment condition and customer needs

Complete accurate service reports and document work performed

Maintain an organized and properly stocked company service vehicle

Respond to urgent and emergency service needs as required

Build strong relationships with customers while providing professional field-service support

Follow established safety procedures and company service standards

Participate in ongoing technical, supplier, and equipment training

Support additional field-service responsibilities as needed

What You Bring High school diploma or GEDStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment

Direct industrial air-compressor service experience is preferred but not required

Experience working with rotating equipment, industrial maintenance, or multi-craft maintenance is a plus Strong communication and customer-service skills

Self-motivated, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in the field

Coachable and willing to participate in ongoing technical training

Valid driver's license

Ability to work in industrial environments and perform physical duties that include standing and bending

Ability to successfully complete required drug screening and background check
