Paratransit Driver

We are seeking professional and caring Paratransit Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will transport wheelchair users and patients who require non-emergency medical transportation.

• Safely operate company vehicles equipped for wheelchair accessibility.
• Transport passengers to medical appointments, therapy, community events, and other approved destinations.
• Provide assistance to passengers entering and exiting vehicles, including securing wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during trips.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions.
• Deliver friendly, professional, and respectful customer service at all times.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Compassion, patience, and professionalism when working with individuals with disabilities and medical needs.

• May require prolonged sitting or standing.
• Requires normal or corrected vision.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Involves frequent reaching, bending, pushing, stooping, and lifting when assisting passengers in and out of vehicles.
• Full range of body motion required.

• This position starts at $15.00/hour.

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) drug and alcohol testing regulations (49 CFR Part 655) requires all individuals performing safety-sensitive functions to submit to drug and alcohol testing as a condition of performing such work. All independent contractors who wish to complete trips from our accounts must meet this regulation.
