Fast paced premier tool and gage house looking for a self starting process planner.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Process Planner role based in Tolland, CT. The Process Planner will be responsible for breaking out tools for manufacturing. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings, developing process plans, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Additionally, the Process Planner will collaborate with outside suppliers and vendors outsourcing details and sub assemblies for manufacturing.
Qualifications- Strong skills in process planning and manufacturing workflow
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of quality control and assurance practices in manufacturing
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in the machining of tools and fixtures is highly desirable
- Entry level
- Full-time
