Transportation Supervisor

We are looking for a motivated Transportation Supervisor to lead our Distribution Center in Tolleson, AZ. In this role you’ll manage delivery operations, maintain a safe environment, and support the growth of Albertsons Companies.

• Communicate safety expectations and promote a safe work environment across the workforce.
• Implement cost‑saving measures in collaboration with drivers, dispatchers and software vendors.
• Manage equipment and manpower requirements for daily operational needs.
• Oversee daily work assignments and lead safety initiatives throughout the department.
• Ensure the delivery of product from the Tolleson Distribution Center to all company‑owned stores in the Southwest.

• 2‑year college degree (Bachelor’s preferred) or 5 years of progressive trucking experience.
• 2‑5 years of proven supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Department of Transportation laws and regulations.
• Experience with HOS, Dispatching routing systems; MOBI and Prospero a plus.
• Familiarity with a union work environment and time‑and‑attendance procedures.
• High initiative and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Transportation experience, including trailer loading and store‑delivery procedures.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling; experience driving diesel tractors and a current CDL helpful.
