Warehouse Specialist
- Finished Goods

Description

Material Handling and Inventory Management:

* Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips or purchase orders.

* Accurately label and store materials in designated locations, maintaining clear and orderly inventory records.

* Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation to minimize discrepancy

Shipping and Distribution:

* Prepare materials and products for shipment, including picking, packing, labeling, and palletizing.

* Collaborate with the shipping team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to customers or distribution centers.

Operational Support:

* Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling machinery, in a safe and efficient manner.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Collaboration and Communication:

* Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and timely delivery to support manufacturing schedules.

* Report damaged or defective materials to the appropriate department for resolution.

Compliance and Safety:

* Follow company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety guidelines to create a secure work environment.

* Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.

Qualifications:

* Education & Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management are a plus.

* 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Abilities:

* Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Ability to lift up to [weight, e.g., 50 lbs.] and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Certifications:

* Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

Work Environment:

* Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels.

* Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

The range for this position is $20.00 hourly rate - $21.50 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
