Mathematics Teacher (Grades 9-12)
The Tomah Area School District has the following vacancy beginning in the 2026-27 school year:
High School Mathematics Teacher (Grades 9-12) Tomah High School is seeking a creative, innovative educator who can establish positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the community. This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in mathematics. Candidates should possess knowledge of current practices and methodologies in the teaching of mathematics, knowledge of and ability to teach students with special needs and the ability to instruct remedial courses and to work with at-risk youths.
Computer experience and ability to teach students using technology is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated knowledge of:
- WiMLSS
- Professional Learning Communities
- Universal Design for Learning or Differentiated Instruction
- Blended Learning Environments
- The Wisconsin Standards for Mathematics
