Job Title:

Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary with Potential to Hire)

Schedule:

Onsite, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM

Reports To:

Senior Accountant and Controller

Position Overview:

Our growing company is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accounting team, with potential for long-term hire based on business needs and performance. This role will be responsible for managing high-volume invoice processing and supporting the full accounts payable cycle through check runs.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Enter approximately 150 invoices per week into Foundation ERP software

+ Maintain and monitor the AP inbox

+ Obtain invoice approvals from appropriate stakeholders

+ Process accounts payable activities through check runs

+ Ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoice entry and AP documentation

+ Assist with other accounts payable and administrative accounting duties as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Prior accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment

+

Experience with Foundation ERP is a plus; other ERP system experience will also be considered

+ Basic Excel skills required

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Ability to work onsite in Tomball, TX
