We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer with a strong background in the automotive industry to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, driving strategic financial planning, and ensuring the sustainable growth of our business.
Automotive Chief Financial Officer- Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Provide insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial forecasts to the executive team and board of directors.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards within the automotive industry
- Manage cash flow and optimize working capital to support business operations.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the automotive sector.
- Implement policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and other financial partners.
- Communicate financial performance and strategic direction to stakeholders.
- Evaluate potential business acquisitions and partnerships within the automotive industry.
- Lead due diligence and financial assessments for potential deals.
- Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in finance leadership roles, specifically within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards related to automotive manufacturing and sales.
- Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and strategy development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
