Responsibilities- Plans, coordinates, and assists in the management of the Recreational Therapy Service.
- Participates in planning and implementing new programs and services.
- Establishes and implements therapeutic recreational therapy programs to treat patients.
- Directs and organizes activities such as adapted sports, dramatics, social activities, arts and crafts; ensures content is aligned with patient capabilities, needs, and interests.
- Provides care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Activity Coordinator Certification and Advanced Activity Certification & CPR
- Recreation Therapist
- Bachelors Degree
