Urgent Care PA/NP – Northern Houston (Per Diem)

Join GoHealth Urgent Care as a Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in our Northern Houston centers. We seek experienced providers who have urgent care or emergency medicine experience, treat both adult and pediatric patients, and are comfortable with minor procedures and interpreting EKGs and X-rays.

While the primary focus is delivering high quality, patient-centered urgent care, your daily responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and treat acute medical conditions such as sore throat, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.
• Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.) and read EKGs and X-rays.
• Recognize serious conditions and appropriately refer or direct patients to the emergency room.
• Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.

• Work in state‑of‑the‑art centers equipped with imaging and laboratory services.
• Enjoy autonomy with mentoring and support when needed.
• Benefit from excellent patient satisfaction scores that validate our focus on quality of care.

• 1 year of full‑time experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients of all ages.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.) and reading EKGs and X-rays.
