The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources SG&A department. This is a salaried, full‑time position where you will play a vital role in providing HR support across various functions, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals. Your bilingual skills will be essential in fostering effective communication and collaboration in our diverse workplace, supporting employee engagement and compliance.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Provide day‑to‑day HR support to employees and managers, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and legal requirements in all HR activities.
- Assist in recruitment efforts, including onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Facilitate employee relations by addressing workplace issues and promoting a positive work environment.
- Offer expert guidance to Payroll and Benefits specialists on benefits and payroll administration, managing employee benefits programs precisely.
- Act as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and enrollment support.
- Serve as a go‑to person for employee inquiries, offering guidance and support, and conducting thorough investigations to ensure policy and legal compliance.
- Participate actively in employee disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations, maintaining a fair and compliant approach.
- Oversee the offboarding process, conduct exit interviews, and ensure accurate data recording and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR generalist role or relevant HR function.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Thorough understanding of employment laws, compliance standards, and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive employee matters discreetly.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and familiarity with HR software tools and applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
