Summary The Residential Program Manager is responsible for the care, welfare, safety and security of the children in care at Kismet Residential Treatment Center. Also, the Residential Program Manager is responsible for supervising all direct care staff and the Residential Direct Care Supervisor. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Must successfully pass all background screenings as required by the state. Must be 25 years of age or older. Behavior or health status must not present a danger to children in care. Must be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform assigned tasks. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position directly supervises staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Kismet policies, State and Federal laws, and Minimum Standards.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance including coaching and future performance development; manages training needs through learning management system; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Maintain quality improvement goals and address at regularly scheduled staff meetings.
High School diploma or GED and at least two years of direct-care experience and at least one year of supervisory experience in a residential treatment setting working with children with emotional disorders.
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to apply basic mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
