• Location: Tomball, TX 77375 (Houston metropolitan area)
• Facility: Surgery Department, Main Building, 1st Floor
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-call: Monday–Friday 3 PM–7 AM; alternating schedule as staffing increases
• Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1750 - $1870

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state)
• Minimum 3 years of recent cardiovascular (CV) surgery experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency in on-pump and off-pump CABG procedures
• Vascular surgery experience preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system a plus
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Circulate and assist in cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures, including CABG, vascular bypass, and carotid endarterectomy
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio for optimal patient safety and care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia techs, nurse techs, and unit clerks in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
• Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures using Meditech EMR
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain a professional clinical environment
