We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Special Procedures (IR) for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. As a Special Procedures RN, you will be responsible for setup and assist physicians with procedures as needed (i.e., abscess drainage, biopsy, consent for invasive procedures and follow-ups, as necessary). What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will be responsible for EKG monitoring, when necessary
• You will be responsible for administering medications/blood as ordered
• You will be responsible for start of saline locks and IV’s according to IVP/CT protocol
• You will be responsible for catheterization of patients in department
• You will monitor patients receiving IV sedation under the direct supervision of the Radiologist
• You will be responsible for informing the Radiologist/Technologist of any penitent changes in the patient’s condition

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting
• This position rotates "Call" - therefore candidates must be able to return to the facility within 30 minutes of a call to be eligible for consideration.
