Associate Veterinarians & Surgeons Needed - Full & Part Time - Spring Job
Texas Litter Control is hiring full and part time Associate Veterinarians. We offer competitive pay rates in addition to a full benefit package for full time employees, which includes paid time off, medical, dental, vision, short & long‑term disability, and life insurance policies. We also pay for licensing with the State of Texas and DEA.
We would welcome DVMs with any level of experience, including recent graduates.
We have 3 locations serving Harris and Montgomery Counties (Humble, Tomball and Spring).
Wellness shifts are 7.5 hours and surgical shifts start 8am; you leave once all patients are awake and stable, typically before 3pm.
TLC will pay reasonable moving expenses for out‑of‑area hires.
TLC is a 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to helping pets. There is no pressure to meet sales quotas and you are not on call after your shift has ended.
Associate Veterinarian – TLC offers wellness services to the general public and expanded health care to income‑qualified individuals, including digital x‑rays, dentals with digital x‑rays, and treatment of minor injuries. We seek an individual who advances the quality of medicine and delivers exceptional client service.
Surgeon – TLC seeks experienced surgeons, though not necessarily high volume. A surgeon training program will bring you up to speed if you possess the basic skill set. Surgeons perform 30–40 animals per shift, a number that balances animal welfare with staff well‑being. The role involves minimal interaction with the public; technicians handle client check‑ins and the veterinarian engages with clients only in extreme situations.
SALARY – Full Time: $130,000 – $156,000, depending on experience.
