Retail Sales Associate - Part Time - 2239  range: $10.00 to $14.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process, with potential to earn up to 8% on transactions (which could average an additional $4.16 per hour on top of your hourly rate).

Work hours typically align with store hours (most stores open 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; many are closed on Sundays).

We are seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and assists customers with sales, loans, and other transactions, and resolves customer inquiries. Associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to build rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policy and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using proper communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, bending, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• May assist customers exterior to the building or retrieve products stored in exterior storage areas.
• Minimum Age: 18 years;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed; flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office machines.
