Overview

The Sales Manager has the critical job of introducing potential customers to our renewal energy products and works with them to select and purchase products. This position is also responsible for overseeing the activities of other Sales Department personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Educate customers about the various products and services available to them.
  • Maintain an intimate knowledge of products, including features, benefits, and potential drawbacks/risks. Stay up to date on new technological advancements to offer accurate advice about which products are most effective for customer needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service; generate leads; close deals; research potential target markets; use social media to promote and grow the network; attend industry events and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with other departments on product design.
  • Manage the activities of other sales personnel and motivate them to meet sales targets.
  • Follow up with manufacturing on the production and shipping of sold items to keep customer informed of delivery schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university in Business, Marketing, or other related field required.
  • Fluency in English. Bi-lingual in Chinese (Mandarin) language preferred.
  • Acceptable level of proficiency in communication to collaborate effectively with customers and coworkers.
  • Capacity to quickly learn required skills, such as basic office equipment and selected company software programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret complex figures and text.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a team player.
Work Environment

The work environment for the position includes a variety of indoor and outdoor environments including customer sites, trade shows /conference centers, enclosed offices, and workshop production floor.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of the position include walking, standing, reaching, and sitting, on a regular basis; ability to speak and hear; ability to visually detect product color and shading variation; lifting objects from one level to another; entering text or data via keyboard into a computer; seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hands; ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or sounds.
