Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

MECHANIC needed to preform troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment for repair.

• Services and oversees major electrical, hydraulic and/or diesel engine repairs of all types of construction equipment as required to ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop.
• Dismantles and reassembles/rebuilds equipment.
• Fabricates parts and equipment as required to meet shop and customer needs.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems.
• Performs check‑ins and safety inspections and assists other equipment mechanics with general shop and equipment maintenance as needed.
• Conducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and downtime in the field or other remote settings.
• Maintains safe work environment and performs duties in accordance with safety standards.

• 5+ years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• Need to provide own tools.
• Excellent trouble‑shooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments.
• Ability to work independently and be flexible regarding work assignments.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must possess a high degree of safety‑awareness and commitment.
• Working knowledge of equipment design and safety requirements.
