Locum Tenens Radiologist Opportunity – Diagnostic Imaging Excellence

A leading medical center in New Jersey is seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for an immediate and ongoing locum tenens assignment. This role offers a dynamic work environment alongside a collaborative team of Radiologists and support staff.

  : ASAP
• Schedule
  :
  Weekdays and weekends
  • Day shift
    : 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Evening Shift
    : 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Occasional weekend availability required
• On-Call
  :
  None
• Patient Volume
  :
  Approximately 440 studies daily; monthly average 13,200
• Team Structure
  :
  Work alongside 6-7 radiologists on weekdays and 2-3 on weekends

Clinical Responsibilities
:

• Interpret a variety of imaging modalities, including:
  • CT
  • MRI
  • Ultrasound
  • Preliminary Reads
  • CT perfusion studies
• Perform upper GI procedures (approximately 10 per week)
• Nuclear medicine capabilities preferred but not mandatory

Support and Environment:

• Collaborative work with a team of radiologists
• Assistance from hospital-employed support staff and modality supervisor
• Advanced Practice Providers on staff (locum not responsible for supervision)
• EMR System: Epic

Qualifications
:

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
• Eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• Proficient in interpreting CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies
• Expertise with upper GI procedures
• Nuclear Medicine experience is a plus
