RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Hospitalist Nocturnist for Full-Time Employment at Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey
This is a great opportunity for eager physicians to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary team working alongside a strong support staff, including advanced practice providers, to provide high-level, quality-driven patient care.
Ideal candidates will be motivated to join a busy practice, support a team-based approach to patient care, and collaborate with other hospitalists, case managers, social workers, bed managers, and others involved in clinical care, discharge planning, and patient/family communications.
The Nocturnist will work a 7-on / 7-off, 12-hour clinical shift model to ensure seamless and appropriate patient care transitions.
Candidate Requirements
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
New hires will be required to meet the high standards of healthcare excellence outlined in policies adopted by the medical staff, hospital administration, and Board of Trustees.

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $365,000 to $395,000 per year.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
