Peer Tutor - STEM; Federal Study

This position provides virtual and face-to-face tutorial assistance to students in STEM subject areas and, under the direction of Specialist and/or Coordinator of the STEM Center, ensuring that the appropriate level of service is provided to students.

• Tutors students in STEM content course(s), or study skills
• Guides and supports student use of campus resources, technology, and appropriate study habits, conducts workshops
• Provides in class support, creates resources to upload to service area Canvas course(s)
• Meets with Tutoring Resources staff to ensure appropriate level of services are offered
• Maintains and updates the tutoring session logs, completing Conference Summaries and other pertinent documentation as assigned
• Attends training sessions provided by the College
• Completes projects or duties as assigned
