Project Engineer - Dynamic Engineering

The Project Engineer will lead due‑diligence investigations and design/engineering analyses for retail, commercial, industrial, and residential site layouts.
Responsibilities- Review municipal zoning, land‑development ordinances, and applicable regulations.
- Prepare Site Investigation and Due‑Diligence Reports, including ordinance review, utility research, and site visits.
- Create Conceptual Site Plans.
- Develop preliminary Grading and Design Plans.
- Design Stormwater Management and Conveyance Systems, Utility Systems, and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Plans.
- Prepare construction cost estimates and project proposals.
- Manage project budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams to compile comprehensive site‑plan applications.
- Produce technical reports covering drainage, sanitary sewer, and site investigations.
- Write correspondence to agencies, clients, and contractors.
- Present to planning and zoning boards and municipal agencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of Civil Site Engineering experience (residential, institutional, industrial, or commercial).
- Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT) required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of Truck and Turning & Modeling software.
- In‑depth understanding of planning and zoning processes.
- Knowledge of hydrologic, hydraulic, and stormwater design.
- Proficient grading and drainage design skills.
- Utility design experience (pump station, force mains).
- Experience with regulatory agencies and review professionals.
- Mapping‑website proficiency for due‑diligence and site investigation.
- Construction support experience.
- Proficient in the use of the following design tools for site engineering
- AutoCAD Civil3D
- Hydrology Software (Hydraflow, Hydro
CAD, Pond Pack) - Hydraulic Software (Hydraflow, Storm
CAD, SSA) - HEC‑RAS
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
- Proficient in Bluebeam Revu and/or Adobe for document markups.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Independent and critical‑thinking abilities.
- Superior organization and delegation skills.
- Team‑oriented leadership with staff development focus.

Salary range: $95,000 – $115,000 per year.
Senior‑level position – Mid‑Senior. Full‑time employment. Engineering and Information Technology focus within Civil Engineering industry.
