Project Engineer - Site​/Civil

A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Project Engineer – Civil Site/Land Development to join its expanding team in Toms River, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site plans, grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater management designs
• Perform due diligence investigations and zoning/code reviews
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
• Prepare technical reports, construction cost estimates, and project documentation
• Support permitting and land development approval processes
• Attend meetings with planning boards, agencies, and project teams
• Manage project tasks, schedules, and budgets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• PE license required
• 5+ years of civil site/land development experience
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology/hydraulic software
• Experience with permitting and municipal review processes
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
