Travel Cath Lab Technologist – $3,338 per week ()
Location: Toms River, New Jersey

Job DetailsFusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to support cardiovascular procedures in a state‑of‑the‑art cath lab. The assignment supports patient care, assists physicians during interventions, and ensures equipment functionality and sterile technique.
Required Qualifications- One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA/ARC)
- Certification from ARRT, RCES, or RCIS
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license compliant with state regulations
- Additional certifications such as PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC
- Any other certifications and licenses pertinent to this position
- Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional procedures
- Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and monitoring systems; ensure proper functionality
- Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup, adhering to infection control and procedural protocols
- Perform sheath removal and achieve hemostasis using manual compression or closure devices as directed
- Maintain accurate documentation (patient records, imaging data, equipment logs)
- Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of sterile instruments and medications
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols (lead aprons, shields, dosimeters)
- Comply with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned within scope of practice
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication
- Proficiency in English speaking, reading, and writing
- Ability to execute written and verbal instructions and use basic PC skills
- Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Teamwork and professionalism across multidisciplinary staff
