We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Billing & Patient Responsibility Specialist to support our billing operations with a strong focus on patient invoicing. This role plays a key part in ensuring patients clearly understand their financial responsibility while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and excellent customer service.

• Prepare, review, and send patient invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Calculate patient responsibility amounts based on insurance EOBs
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding invoices, balances, and payment options
• Work closely with internal billing, insurance, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in billing systems
• Assist with payment posting, follow-ups, and account reconciliation as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations

• Previous experience in medical billing, patient accounting, or revenue cycle management preferred
• Strong understanding of patient responsibility, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance
  
  Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
• Comfortable working with billing software and Microsoft Office tools
