Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Needed in Ocean County

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare

Pay range: $45.00/hr - $75.00/hr

• Providing individual in‑home therapy and telehealth therapy sessions
• Performing bio‑psycho‑social assessments (if trained or willing to train)
• Teaching coping and social skills, anger management, and reducing risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression
• Improving youth and caretaker decision‑making skills to manage in‑home behavioral challenges
• Collaborating effectively with the Child‑Family Treatment Team and other professionals who support the youth and family
• Submitting required documentation and paperwork (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.) within designated time frames
• Attending monthly meetings and completing mandatory clinical documentation

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related field (LSW, LAC, LFT)
• Clinical mental health trauma counseling training
• Training or willingness to complete crisis intervention training
• Post‑internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders
• Experience creating treatment plans, treatment goals, progress notes, and initial assessments
• Proficiency in CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and trauma response approaches
• Knowledge of DSM‑V for assessments and diagnosis
• Availability for a minimum of 6–10 hours per week during after‑school hours (12 noon – 8 pm); weekend flexibility a plus
• Experience providing positive behavior supports
• Experience working with children ages 3–20; experience with I/DD is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and registered vehicle
• Pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting
• Submission of resume plus copies of master’s degree and NJ license/Certification
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (no H‑1B sponsorship)
• State reciprocity considered; candidate must reside within 25–30 minutes commute to service areas; licence must be registered with NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board (PA, NY & NJ)
