Manufacturing Production, Production Associate / Production Line
Brewer position with Toms River Brewing, located in Toms River, New Jersey right along the Jersey Shore.
Come be a part of our production team as we continue to expand our footprint in New Jersey and beyond.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in both brewing and cellaring operations with a keen attention to details.
The candidate is a self-motivator who works equally well in a team setting as they do independently.
Mechanical aptitude, comfortability troubleshooting issues as they may arise.
Team member must be able to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally.
Must possess a positive outlook and demeanor with an enthusiasm for crafting the best beers possible.
Warehouse experience and familiarity with QA/QC practices are encouraged.
Responsibilities- Perform both cellar and brew house operations in a smart and efficient manner.
- Yeast harvesting, handling, and pitching.
- FV/BT CIP and SIP operations.
- Adherence to all SOPs as directed by management.
- Packaging Support on canning and kegging days.
- General system maintenance.
- Assist with raw materials and packaged goods inventory.
- Maintain safety protocols, PPE, lockout-tagout and more.
- Physically able to repeatedly lift 55+lbs, walk, stand for extended periods, squat, reach unassisted.
