Job Overview:The RWJBarnabas Health New Graduate RN Residency program is a one-year program providing new graduate RNs with a supportive learning environment to gain clinical competency and transition from student to professional nurse. It includes:
- Preceptor-guided transition program
- Continuing education and professional development
- Specialty-specific foundational courses
- Application of professional accountability and ethics
- Focus on patient safety, quality, and satisfaction
- Self-care for safe practice
- Mentorship support
- Hired into a specialty area
- Variable Day or Night Shift
- Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program
- NJ RN licensure prior to hire
- Less than 6 months RN experience
- Commitment to orientation
- BLS certification
- BSN degree
