Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) - T1154. Starting hourly rate is $17.00 USD per hour; pay range is $17.00 - $25.50 per hour. This role at Target focuses on delivering a welcoming guest experience, enabling quick and easy shopping, and supporting both in-store and digital services.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks
• Engage with guests to solve needs and communicate current promos, store activities, and events
• Know the tools, products, and services available to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Inform guests about Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App including Wallet; assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering
• Handle returns following store policies and escalate with leadership when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and restock as required
• Be aware of safety policies and report hazards; operate in a safe manner
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up orders, and related duties; comply with applicable laws
• Perform other duties based on business needs

• Flexible schedule with reliable attendance; shift length may vary
• Able to remain mobile throughout the shift and work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout)
