Accounts Senior

We are working with a growing accountancy practice in Tonbridge who are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their supportive office.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing and reviewing accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across a variety of sectors.

* Preparing corporation tax and personal tax computations and returns.

* Supporting clients with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements, including digital record-keeping and submissions.

* Using a range of cloud-based and desktop accounting software, including Xero, Quick Books, and Sage.

* Assisting with VAT returns, CIS, bookkeeping, and general accounting queries.

* Managing client relationships with a professional and proactive approach.

About You

* ACCA/ACA qualification, active study towards these qualifications, or equivalent experience.

* At least 5 years’ experience working within a UK accountancy practice.

* Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

* The ability to manage deadlines and work independently as well as part of a team.

* A client-focused approach with strong communication skills.
