Audit Manager

As an Audit Manager in Tonbridge, you'll play a key role in leading audits and ensuring the smooth running of engagements from start to finish.

Our client is a well established accountancy firm in Tonbridge. They are keen to recruit a candidate with extensive experience in audit with some working knowledge of accounts prep and tax returns.

• Lead and manage audits, ensuring they are completed efficiently and within deadlines.
• Review and prepare financial statements in line with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to address audit findings and provide actionable insights.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development.
• Ensure compliance with audit standards and internal procedures.
• Work closely with other departments to provide a seamless service to clients.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
• Maintain strong client relationships and address their queries effectively.
• Prepare complex personal and corporate tax returns.

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA).
• Strong technical knowledge of audit standards and financial reporting.
• Experience preparing tax returns.
• Experience managing audit engagements and leading teams.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• A proactive and organised approach to managing workloads.

• Competitive salary of £55,000 to £70,000, dependent on the level of experience.
