Automotive Technical Assessor

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Automotive Technical Assessor. This role is responsible for inspecting, assessing, and processing warranty claims, ensuring all assessments are completed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on automotive experience and a strong technical understanding of vehicle components and systems.

• Inspect and assess warranty claims in line with company procedures.
• Accurately process claims within agreed timescales.
• Prepare detailed technical rejection reports to a high standard and within required deadlines.
• Identify, investigate, and report product‑related technical issues where necessary.
• Communicate professionally with customers and stakeholders regarding warranty matters.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the claims process.

• Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous hands‑on experience working with vehicles.
• Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• GCSEs (Grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
