Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic or Diagnostic Technician looking for something different from the typical dealership or busy independent garage?

This is an opportunity to join an established specialist workshop in Tonbridge, Kent
, working on a fantastic range of supercars, prestige vehicles, performance cars and classic vehicles

Rather than focusing on high-volume servicing and unrealistic productivity targets, we prioritise quality workmanship, proper diagnostics and doing the job right

You’ll have the time, equipment and support to develop your skills while working on some genuinely interesting vehicles.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician
, you'll work on a wide variety of prestige, performance and classic vehicles.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance
  • Mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis
  • Engine diagnostics and fault finding
  • Electrical diagnostics
  • Suspension, steering and braking repairs
  • Engine and drivetrain repairs
  • Clutch and gearbox work
  • Timing belt and timing chain replacement
  • Using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Carrying out repairs to a high standard
  • Maintaining accurate job records
  • Following manufacturer and company repair standards
  • Keeping the workshop clean, safe and organised

The role offers plenty of variety, with the opportunity to work on vehicles and technical problems that you simply wouldn't encounter in a typical workshop.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced technician who takes genuine pride in their work and wants to continue developing their skills.

Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic or Diagnostic Technician
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to diagnose faults methodically and accurately
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
  • Prestige, luxury or performance vehicles
  • Supercars or high-performance vehicles
  • Classic cars
  • Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati or Alfa Romeo
  • Manufacturer diagnostic equipment
  • MOT Tester qualification
