Lead Dental Nurse – Tonbridge Total Orthodontics

Full time, Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team at Tonbridge Total Orthodontics. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified dental nurse who is ready to take the next step in their career, leading a team and supporting the smooth running of a busy specialist orthodontic practice.

Role
  • Support clinicians with a full range of orthodontic procedures
  • Lead, mentor and support the nursing team
  • Ensure high standards of cross‑infection control and compliance
  • Assist with the day‑to‑day organisation of the practice
  • Deliver an excellent patient experience at every stage of treatment
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified and GDC‑registered Dental Nurse
  • Previous orthodontic experience is preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, proactive and patient‑focused approach

Key Skills and Experience
  • Confident leading a team
  • GDC Registered
  • Preferred Dentally experience
  • Ensure CQC requirements are met and manage audits
  • Oversee reception and staff rotas
  • Update patient records
  • Set up decontamination of instruments
  • Provide clinical chair‑side support to dentists
  • Undertake some reception duties
  • Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Provide excellent patient care
