We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team at Tonbridge Total Orthodontics. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified dental nurse who is ready to take the next step in their career, leading a team and supporting the smooth running of a busy specialist orthodontic practice.

Tonbridge Total Orthodontics is a well-established, 4‑surgery mixed orthodontic practice led by experienced orthodontic specialists. We pride ourselves on delivering high‑quality patient care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

• Support clinicians with a full range of orthodontic procedures
• Lead, mentor and support the nursing team
• Ensure high standards of cross‑infection control and compliance
• Assist with the day‑to‑day organisation of the practice
• Deliver an excellent patient experience at every stage of treatment

• Qualified and GDC‑registered Dental Nurse
• Previous orthodontic experience is preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive, proactive and patient‑focused approach

• Full‑time weekday hours with no weekends
• A supportive team working alongside specialist clinicians

• Confident leading a team
• GDC Registered
• Preferred Dentally experience
• Ensure CQC requirements are met and manage audits
• Oversee reception and staff rotas
• Update patient records
• Set up decontamination of instruments
• Provide clinical chair‑side support to dentists
• Undertake some reception duties
• Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
• Strong communication skills
• Provide excellent patient care
